About
Working as a director and producer for over a decade, I’ve dedicated my career to exploring ideas that shape our culture and society, told through the experiences of real people. Based in Yorkshire and working internationally across Europe and Asia, my goal is always the same: to tell stories that prompt audiences to think, feel, and care.
For me, the most important part of filmmaking is meeting people exactly where they are. Over the years, I’ve worked with an array of unique individuals – from astronauts and social workers to politicians and refugees. My expertise lies in building immediate trust and working together to ensure your story is told with authenticity, respect, and a calm, supportive approach.
I build and develop my storytelling approach to fit whatever path the story requires, whether that means directing a beautiful high-production film, or creating simple, direct content for digital platforms.
I’ve taken part in screenings at the Cannes Film Festival as well as the Venice Film Festival; I’m an advocate for independent cinema, a member of the Documentary Film Council and have worked on Webby, Lovie, Muse and Telly Award winning ideas.
